Hannah Gordon

Hannah R. Gordon (she/they) is an interdisciplinary author and educator. She serves as an adjunct instructor at SUNY University at Buffalo, SUNY Fredonia, and St. Bonaventure University teaching courses in global gender studies, English, history, journalism, and marketing. They are also pursuing their Ph.D. in global gender and sexuality studies at SUNY UB. Their research focus is on developing a new methodology for treating trauma, especially in adults who experienced childhood abuse, that builds on narrative exposure therapy and integrates storytelling into the healing process in a more holistic, interactive way. Presently, she calls this “storyhealing.” 

Hannah also holds an M.A. in integrated marketing communications and a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from St. Bonaventure University. During her undergrad, she studied at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic, and during her M.A., she studied at Trinity College, Oxford University. After completing her M.A., she earned a graduate certificate in publishing from the Denver Publishing Institute, housed at the University of Denver, Colorado.
